TUITION CONTRACT

This Private School Tuition Contract is made between Sunshine State Academy K–12 / Sunshine Online Academy (“School”) and the parent, legal guardian, or adult student age 18 or older submitting this enrollment form (“Responsible Party”) on behalf of the enrolled student (“Student”). By submitting this form, the Responsible Party agrees to pay tuition and fees for the Student’s enrollment in Sunshine Online Academy for the current school year. Annual tuition is $5,000 for grades K–5, $5,200 for grades 6–8, and $5,520 for grades 9–12. A non-refundable $300 enrollment fee is required for all students and is separate from tuition. Families may choose one of the following payment options: Paid in full: Full annual tuition plus the $300 enrollment fee is due at enrollment. Payment plan: $1,300 is due at enrollment, which includes a $1,000 tuition down payment and the $300 non-refundable enrollment fee. The remaining tuition must be paid through an 8-month recurring monthly tuition plan. Monthly payments are $525 for grades K–5, $550 for grades 6–8, and $590 for grades 9–12. Monthly payments are charged on the 1st day of each month. The payment plan is a payment convenience only and does not create month-to-month enrollment. Once enrollment has been processed, student registration has begun, or course access has been activated, the Responsible Party remains financially responsible for the tuition obligation unless released by the School in writing. All tuition, fees, deposits, and payments are final and non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for withdrawal, dismissal, non-attendance, lack of course completion, failure to participate, change of mind, technology issues outside the School’s control, or the family’s decision to use another school, program, curriculum, or provider. The Responsible Party understands that the School uses third-party online curriculum, courseware, instructional services, and/or learning platforms. Course access is not activated until required payments are received and, for payment plan families, the recurring monthly tuition plan is set up and active. The School may suspend course access, records, transcripts, report cards, diplomas, re-enrollment, or administrative services if an account is past due, documentation is incomplete, or academic/program requirements have not been met. By submitting this form, I confirm that I have read, understand, and agree to this Tuition Contract, the no-refund policy, the payment plan terms, the School handbook, and all applicable Sunshine State Academy K–12 / Sunshine Online Academy policies.
